  Absolutely diabolical surgery. Have been a patient here for 30 years since Dr Gray was there. Last couple of months trying to get a doctor appointment is a joke. My husband was supposed to have health check which is 6 years overdue! He makes appointment with nurse for last month. As message was left previous day on our phone. I rang back they didn't know who or why someone had rung. I explained my husband had appointment that afternoon for health check so I get told the call was probably to make sure he was going to attend. He goes to the surgery signs in on automated check in and takes a seat. Half hour after the appointment time and everyone else seeing nurse/ doc I enquired at the desk. After logging in on his name she then said that the nurse he was seeing was off sick. I then told her that I had rung that morning after a message was left for us to ring the surgery to be told the call was to make sure we was to attend. We was then told they could not fit my husband in for 4 weeks which brings us to today. At 2.45pm I rang the surgery and explained my husband has a health check and I'm making sure the nurse is available as we had a wasted journey last month. I'm told yes nurse in and husband is booked in. Husband attends the surgery gets to reception gives his name to them be told oh dear u won't be able to see the nurse as she is not here!! Absolutely unbelievable not even 3 hours before I rang to make sure that the appointment would go ahead?!! No wonder there isn't decent doctor left all the good ones obviously saw something before we did and went elsewhere!. It's a shame after 30 years I am now having to move my whole family to a better surgery.

  Terrible GP's can never get to see them. Tried on 3 consecutive days to see a doctor, ringing from when they first open, and after 10 minutes and approximately 60 calls each time was told there are no appointments left. Terrible practice. People are left more vulnerable than ever, no wonder A+E is overstretched. Not even had the decency to let us know that all the previous doctors have resigned, or if any new doctors have taken or are likely too take over. Very worrying that if you are in need of seeing a doctor, but but not bad enough to trouble A+E, there is absolutely no chance of getting to see a doctor at this practice. Very unproffessional staff across the board.
